A Woman after God’s Own Heart - No Greater Love

March 16th, 2024 Idlewild Country Club, 19201 Dixie Hwy, Flossmoor, IL

10AM - 1pm (Lunch included)

Join me and the Women after God’s own Heart ministry team for an uplifting and empowering event designed specifically for women who are seeking a deeper connection with God.

No Greater Love is a gathering where women from all walks of life come together to grow in faith, share their stories and support one another on their spiritual journey.

I’ll be sharing guidance for Designing a Life of Joy anchored in God’s Everlasting Love!

Some days our lives feel like the houses Jesus talked about in Matthew 7. The wind and rain beat against every side, and sometimes we hold our breath, wondering if we can withstand another storm. Yet Jesus told the crowd that anyone who listened to his teaching and put it into practice would be like a person who built her house on a solid rock. This is the kind of faith we need—resilience in the face of every storm.

Resilient Faith

We are eager to be with you at our annual Weekend Getaway where we’ll worship together and learn from incredible speakers. This year we hope to reinforce your faith and help you withstand the world that tries to tear it down. As followers of Jesus, we need Resilient Faith now more than ever before. Our prayer is that each of us would leave the Weekend Getaway with stronger, more resilient faith than before.

I’ll be leading a fun workshop on Designing your Life with Joy and God’s definition of Success!

We look forward to seeing you there. Click here to download or view the brochure and to register.

How do you love people when you disagree with them?

We live in divided times. The tension of disagreement can be felt at dinner tables, in board rooms, at church gatherings, and in our communities. It can be hard to know how to engage with each other when the gap between us feels like it’s widening.

Jesus lived in divided times, too. He modeled for us what it looks like to love across political, gender, religious, and cultural lines.

Jesus’s life was marked by loving people who were wildly different from him, and he calls us to do the same. You’re invited to join me, Robby Angle, Tyler Burns, Jennifer Jukanovich, and Tommy Nixon in this four-part group study as they tackle topics such as curiosity, humility, and justice.

Is the JOY of the Lord Your Strength?

Modern neuroscience has only recently begun to discover what God’s Word has said for over 2,000 years: your strength to handle the challenges of life is directly related to the amount of joy you live with (Nehemiah 8:10). And, let’s face it. With all that we’ve been through these past few years, most of our joy-levels have taken a big hit. It’s time to get our joy back and increase our emotional capacity so we can live at our best each day…no matter what comes our way.

We’ve put together this event to help you grow your emotional capacity and live with greater joy. And, we want to give you the tools and truths that will help you be someone that can spread joy – in your home, your workplace, your church, and beyond.

Through these dynamic recordings, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop the essential practices of building joy and returning to joy

  • Understand the brain science and biblical centrality of joy

  • Learn how to deal with stubborn emotions that rob us of joy

  • Be equipped to help those around you increase their joy and emotional resilience

  • Receive training in how to develop tiny habits that produce remarkable life change.

Here's a few thoughts from some of the organizations where I've been invited to share, speak, present, emcee and teach.

"The one word that comes to mind for me when I think about Juni is 'Encourager.'  The Bible calls Barnabas 'the son of encouragement.'  Juni is the daughter.  Since we first met, she has continually been a source of encouragement to me and for that I am thankful." - Pastor Erwin Lutzer, Running to Win

"I've had the pleasure of knowing Juni for several years.  On the Morning Show, I was amazed at how she was able to succinctly yet clearly communicate in such a fast paced environment.  Her questions were thoughtful and penetrating. She's accomplished as both a writer and a speaker." - Karl 'KJ' Johnson, Director, C.S. Lewis Institute - Chicago

"Juni's enthusiasm is contagious because her curiosity inspires love for our Lord.  She desires to know Him and pass that knowledge to others to bless them.  She talks to you, not at you.  God has blessed her with an ability to connect with people deeply in a clear, relational and loving manner."  Nidia Johnson, C.S. Lewis Institute - Chicago

"Juni speaks from a place of passion and authenticity.  Her willingness to step into vulnerable places and speak from the foundations of her heart creates a powerful message, fueled by wisdom, enthusiasm and humor.  It was immediately evident that this woman breathes the very core of God's word." - Dr. Deb Gorton, Rooted Chicago MTS Counseling Center

June Felix is a gifted storyteller with a tender heart who longs to share with her audience how unique they are, how strong they are, and how loved they are. She communicates this with wisdom and grace as she brings the Gospel in an accessible and engaging way. - Tammy Perlmutter,  Co-Founder, Deeply Rooted - A Gathering
